Return of 8-year war prisoners (Azadegan) to Iran

August 17, 1990, witnessed the presence of dears who returned to their Islamic homeland after years of imprisonment in gruesome prisons of Iraqi Baathist Regime. The day was a memorable one in the history of Islamic Revolution in which faithful inexhaustible warriors who had endured all bitter days of imprisonment for the sake of God and their Islamic country were released to be the symbol of perseverance and firmness for their countrymen in different social scenes upon their return.
